I think it would be good if I retire from the entertainment business at this point. The issue that caused social controversy was too much that leads me to leave the entertainment industry. I will make clear all my intentions in the matter under investigation.
I’ve been criticized and hated by the public for the past month and a half, and now I’m being pushed to the national level with all the investigative agencies in the country, and I can’t accept it as a gesture to hurt everyone around me.
Thank you to all the fans at home and abroad for their love over the past 10 years. For the sake of YG and Big Bang’s honor, I think that’s it.
I’m sorry again and I’m very sorry.

We hope that Seungri’s announcement is not yet final, as most people are waiting for the truth to be revealed of all the issues he’s been involved with.
Meanwhile, Seungri is scheduled to enlist as an active duty soldier this coming March 25.
