The Final Battle Begins as “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” Arrives on Netflix

The wait is finally over for Demon Slayer fans! Following a record-breaking theatrical run, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is now available to stream on Netflix across 23 markets in Asia-Pacific, including the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.

The highly anticipated film made history worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing anime film ever globally after its theatrical release. Its success was also felt across Asia-Pacific, where it achieved major box office milestones in several markets.

The Philippines saw a particularly impressive opening weekend, with the film earning approximately $4.2 million (PHP 238 million). This made it the biggest anime opening in Philippine box office history, surpassing major releases across different genres, including horror and superhero films.

The film adapts the highly anticipated Infinity Castle arc, one of the most awaited storylines among Demon Slayer fans. Since the franchise arrived on Netflix, fans have been eagerly following Tanjiro Kamado’s journey as the Demon Slayer Corps moves closer to its ultimate battle.

In Malaysia, Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 1 remained on the weekly Top 10 list for 13 consecutive weeks, marking the longest run for a Japanese title in Southeast Asia during the first half of the year. Meanwhile, STEEL BALL RUN reached the weekly Top 10 in Thailand and Vietnam, while BAKI-DOU entered the Philippines’ chart.
