Hanteo Global, the organizer of the ‘Hanteo Music Awards 2023’, announced on the 1st, that Max Changmin will host the awards ceremony.

Changmin debuted as a member of TVXQ in 2003 and has been active both at home and internationally.

He achieved particularly notable results in Japan, setting various records, including being the first K-pop idol group to perform solo at the Tokyo Dome and with accumulated 1 million fan attendance, the largest audience ever for a single tour by an overseas artist.

Kwak Young-ho, CEO of Hanteo Global, revealed the reason for selecting the host, said that, Changmin’s career fits the concept of globalization of K-pop pursued by the ‘Hanteo Music Awards’ and of being a festival enjoyed by K-pop fans around the world.

The ‘Hanteo Music Awards 2023’ will be held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza for two days from February 17th to 18th and will be broadcast live through the SBS M channel.
