“Battle of Fates” returns for a new spin-off – “House of Fates,” coming exclusively on Disney+
After Battle of Fates broke records earlier this year, it is now set to return for an exciting new spin-off on Disney+!
House of Fates explores the growing interest in Korean fate reading. Participants will embark on an ultimate fate reading adventure as they receive their own personal readings and share stories about love, loss, and life. They will also witness traditional shamanistic rituals and gain rare insight into the world of Korean shamanism and fate reading.
Battle of Fates premiered last February 11 and became the number one series premiere of all time on Disney+ Korea. It featured masters of shamanism, tarot, face and foot reading, saju, and different schools of divination as they competed in a series of challenges designed to test their abilities. Using every tool at their disposal, including fans, bells, dowsing rods, deduction, modern-day laptops, and even communing with spirit guides, the readers competed to give the most accurate information possible to avoid elimination and advance to the next round.
The spin-off is organized and hosted by the top three fate readers from Battle of Fates, with special appearances from some of the show’s other most beloved contestants, and is created by the producer and writer of Battle of Fates. With local adaptations of Battle of Fates confirmed to be in development in other markets, House of Fates is the first spin-off greenlit by Disney+ since the original series captured the world’s attention earlier this year.
While waiting for the show’s spin-off, fans can now binge-watch all 10 episodes of Battle of Fates on Disney+ as well as other unmissable Korean variety shows including I Am Boxer, The Zone: Survival Mission, My Name Is Gabriel starring Jennie from Blackpink, and so much more.
