Read what’s written in his heartfelt letter here:
“Hello. This is Lee Jun Young.
I have been agonizing for months over where to begin this story, and finally, I have decided to write this myself.I am already on my 10th revision. Hahaha!
By now, you must have watched Episode 6 of Reborn Rookie and be getting ready to sleep, right?
Thank you for watching today. Um… I thought it would be better to tell you directly rather than having the news reported through an article, so I am leaving this message. I never thought I would be sharing this news with my own mouth.
Yes! I am enlisting on July 21st. Before I knew the enlistment date, I lived thinking, “Well, what’s the big deal? I’m just going!” But now that I actually have the date, I find myself having a lot of thoughts for the first time in a while. I also thought a lot about how to share this news with you all first. But as I write this down, word by word, I feel a little lighter in my heart.
I will return healthy and true to myself. Until the day I greet you again, I sincerely hope you all stay healthy and spend happy and meaningful times in your respective places. Thank you for always cherishing and supporting me.
Thank you for reading this long message.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year x 2″
