Heo Nam Jun reveals “Teach You a Lesson” star, Kim Moo Yeol is his role model

Heo Nam Jun and Kim Moo Yeol’s brotherly bond is so adorable and admirable!

Heo Nam Jun recently appeared on Ha Ji Young’s vlog. In the first part, he showed off his cooking skills and prepared a dish called Aglio Olio. The second part focused on a short question-and-answer portion for Nam Jun. When he was asked who his role model is, he answered, “I mentioned this in interviews before, but It’s Kim Moo Yeol sunbaenim (senior).”

When he appeared in the Jewel in the Box in 2025, he shared that the chemistry they had in the set of Sweet Home was great: “Moo Yeol is really stable with his emotions, no mood swings at all. I really appreciate warm-hearted people when I see those with more experience. I really like warm-hearted adults, so I really like him,” he said.

In an interview on June 12, he shared his thoughts on Nam Jun’s recent comments, “I saw the article and exchanged messages with Nam Jun. We bonded during the filming of Sweet Home 3 and became close as seniors and juniors from Sungkyunkwan University. Although we met on set for the first time, discovering we attended the same school helped us grow closer.” He also mentioned that they exchanged congratulatory messages with each other and said he was happy to see him succeed in his career.

Kim Moo Yeol and Heo Nam Jun are both gaining attention right now as they both showed their exceptional acting skills in the popular series, Teach You a Lesson and My Royal Nemesis, respectively, which are both streaming on Netflix.
