K-Culture Takes Over Baguio This May with the Korea Festival 2026!

Think of this as a mini trip to Korea… without leaving the Philippines.

The Korean Cultural Center is bringing back its big cultural roadshow, Korea Festival 2026, and this time it’s heading up to the wonderful Baguio City on May 9–10 at SM City Baguio. If you love anything Korean, may it be music, food, fashion, or art, this is your playground.

The festival started a few years ago and has been traveling around the Philippines, picking new spots each time to share the hype. And honestly, Baguio is an amazing choice. Especially with its cool weather, artsy vibe, and just the right setting to make everything feel a bit more magical.

What can you expect?

Imagine walking into different zones where you can try stuff instead of just watching. You can paint digitally, play around with Korean-style lettering, or even dress up in a traditional outfit (yes, full K-drama main character moment). There are also booths where you can check out Korean travel spots and creative industries, so it’s not just fun, it’s low-key educational too.

There’s even an ASEAN-themed corner, which mixes things up by showing off Southeast Asian culture through crafts, games, and stories. So it’s not all about Korea, it’s more like a mix of different cultures coming together in one fun space.

Then when evening hits, that’s when things really pop off. You’ve got K-pop dance covers, traditional performances, and special showcases from groups like the Korea Taekwondo Association and the Suwon Gugak Association, plus local performers from Baguio. So it brings both the excitement and the meaning, but still rich in tradition.

Here’s the best part!

It’s free!
Grab your crew or bring the whole fam and dive right into the experience!

In short: it’s like a weekend hangout where you eat, explore, vibe to music, and accidentally learn a lot about culture along the way.

Don’t forget to save the date!
