Lee Jong Suk and Lee Jun Hyuk may star as cousins in two interconnected upcoming dramas!
On February 23, ACE FACTORY, Lee Jong Suk and Lee Jun Hyuk’s agency, revealed that the two actors received a casting offer to star in web novel-based dramas of the same name, Iseop’s Romance and A Casual Lie.
Iseop’s Romance tells the office romance between Tae I Seop, a third-generation chaebol who is perfect for everything but not good at love, and Kang Min Kyeong, a secret weapon of the TK group. Lee Jong Suk is in talks to play the role of Tae I Seop.
Lee Jong Suk starred in the 2022 noir drama, Big Mouth. He began his acting career in 2010 with the series Prosecutor Princess and is notable for his roles in the dramas I Can Hear Your Voice, Doctor Stranger, Pinocchio, While You Were Sleeping, W, The Hymn of Death, Romance is a Bonus Book, and Law and the City. He has an upcoming drama, The Remarried Empress, which is set to premiere this year on Disney+.
On the other hand, A Casual Lie depicts romance between the grandson of TK Group, named Tae Jun Seop, and Yeon Woo Kyung, a copywriter who suddenly appears in his life as they get involved in the competition for the successor to TK Group. If Lee Jun Hyuk accepts the offer, he will play the role of Tae Jun Seop.
Lee Jun Hyuk officially began his acting journey in the 2006 drama, First Wives’ Club. He is remarkable in various dramas, 365: Repeat the Year, Are You Human, Dark Hole, and Vigilante, to name a few. Last year, he made everyone’s heart flutter by playing the role of Daddy Yu in the romance drama, Love Scout. He recently appeared in The Art of Sarah.
