9 Beautiful K-Drama OSTs by Wendy

You can’t deny the fact that Wendy is one of the charismatic artists who can make your heart flutter not only with her charm but also with her angelic yet powerful vocals; every note will definitely strike into your heart.
Aside from being one of the talented members of Red Velvet and a successful soloist, Wendy is also known for lending her voice in various K-dramas that we love. She is one of those singers who adds extra color to every drama that we watch.
Here are some of her OST songs that deserve a spot on your playlist as well.
1. Return
Released in 2015 as one of the beautiful OSTs of School 2015. This song was one of my favorite original soundtracks from School 2015. It has very comforting lyrics that encourage not giving up in life and give hope that everything will be alright.
2. Don’t Push Me
“Don’t Push Me” is a song by Wendy and her Red Velvet co-member Seulgi, which was released in 2016 as part of the original soundtrack for Uncontrollably Fond. I love this song so much and it really adds more longing emotions to the story as the lyrics goes like this, “Don’t push me away, don’t leave me. Even though you make me cry, even though you hurt me. But please know this, you are my last love,” and if you already watch the drama, you’ll know that this song hurts so much.
3. I Can Only See You
It’s another song from Wendy and Seulgi! Released in 2017. Playing this song brings so much nostalgia as it’s part of one of the popular historical series, Hwarang. The song is about admiration for someone, and the sweet voices of Wendy and Seulgi add more soothing and heart-fluttering feelings to it.
4. Goodbye
Released in 2018 as part 6 OST of The Beauty Inside. This song tells the feeling of letting go and bidding farewell to a loved one. The soulful voice of Wendy made this song more poignant.
5. What if Love
Touch Your Heart‘s OST, “What if Love” was released in 2019, and the song expresses the feeling of being in love with someone, and the innocent feeling of figuring out what love really is.
6. My Day is Full of You
One of the OSTs of The King: Eternal Monarch, which was released in 2020. The song is about someone who falls deeply in love and thinks about that loved one every single day. It tells us that love is the most beautiful thing that gives us unconditional happiness.
7. Two Words
“Two Words” is the song released in 2020 as part of the original soundtrack of Start Up. It tells the strong feeling of being in love, the feeling of getting overwhelmed by it.
8. If I Could Read Your Mind
It’s one of the OSTs of Yumi’s Cells, released in 2021. The song speaks about getting curious about someone’s thoughts. It depicts someone who slowly gets closer and gets butterflies when a special someone is around and wants to know what that special someone thinks of him/her. This song is so cute!
9. Say You Love Me
Released in 2025 as part of the original soundtrack of a rom-com series, Dynamite Kiss. The song is about the desire to be loved by someone he/she loves, being hopeful that he/she feels the same way. Wendy’s powerful ballad calms my whole being.
As much as I love watching K-dramas, I also love listening to their OSTs as well, and Wendy is one of those OST singers that I love to listen to when I want to relax and clear my mind. Her voice is really calming.
