Baekhyun successfully concludes his “Reverie” concert in Manila!

After 8 months, PH EXO-Ls reunite with their dearest genius idol, Baekhyun! The same venue with the same precious person. This year is Baekhyun and PH Eris’ year!

As Baekhyun revealed during his “The Best Day” fan meet last February that he is going to have a solo concert this year, he successfully held his “Reverie” concert in Manila on October 18 and made every PH EXO-L happy again with his sweet presence.

The venue was once again filled with ecstatic fans and a beautiful silver ocean as Baekhyun kicked off the show with powerful performances of Young, followed by the songs Ghost and Pineapple Slice. “Kamusta?” he greeted the crowd, “Hi guys! How are you today? I’m Baekhyun. Welcome to the ‘Reverie’ concert. Thank you for coming.” He reminisced about his time with PH EXO-Ls last February and said he is glad to see the fans again. As the fans invested their time and energy going to his show, Baekhyun promised to make everyone happy throughout the night.

Baekhyun further explained the deep meaning behind the title, Reverie. According to him, the word Reverie means imagination, ideal world, and dream. He said he will try his best to be the borderline of the ideal world and the real world, “I will be in the middle and I’ll make sure that we’ll have the best concert.”

Baekhyun never fails to amaze us with his top-notch performances, his captivating dance moves, and his vocal prowess. His performances are a testament to how talented he is and so charming in his own special way.

From the start of the show up to the end, PH EXO-Ls’ warm energy and their passionate love for Baekhyun were felt through their loud cheers and singing along with him. Baekhyun said Eris are so great at singing. “Did you guys wait for this moment? Are you happy? Me too, I’m so happy because of all of you.”

As always, Baekhyun looks so stunning. He mentioned that it’s a good thing he bleached his hair to look good for Eris. He remembered the Tagalog word, pogi (handsome), and said Pogi man. Everyone agreed because it’s true, and shouted, “Pogi! Pogi! Pogi!” he commented, “Byun Pogi?” But there is a word called ‘myeondogi’ in Korean. So every time, the crowd says “Byun Pogi” it’s like hearing them say “myeondogi” instead. So he said, “Let’s cancel that!” He’s so funny! Everyone added, “Sexy! Sexy! sexy!”

Reverie setlist includes Woo, Underwater, Bambi, Rende-Vous, Good Morning, UN Village, Truth Be Told, Cold Heart, Psycho, Betcha, Candy, Garden in the Air, and Amusement Park. He also performed songs from his latest album, “Essence of Reverie” – Chocolate, Love Comes Back, Lemonade, Black Dreams, Elevator, No Problem, and because the fans sang the song Late Night Calls, he also performed it as well.

Because he loves the fans so much, he added more songs and sang them for Eris. Beautiful, Cry for Love,  Dream, and Paranoia were his encore songs.

Baekhyun said he’ll make sure that he will come back to the Philippines, but until then, he wishes for everyone to please stay safe and be healthy. He expressed his gratitude to Philippine Eris for loud voices singing along with him and their beautiful eyes looking at him. he said, “Even after such a long time we met again here in the Philippines, the reason why it feels like yesterday the last time we met it’s because of our love.” He is so thankful that they spent time with him, creating another beautiful memory together.

Everyone was so happy, waving their Eribongs together with Baekhyun, singing along with him, laughing with him, and enjoying every precious moment with their beloved star.

Towards the end of the show, Baekhyun shouted, “Mahal kita, Philippines!” while singing his song Amusement Park and waving goodbye to the crowd. “Thank you so much for coming, Salamat sa pagpunta. Mahal Kita, ingat pauwi! I am very happy tonight. The next time I come back, let’s have some fun again. I look forward to next time as well. See you again, bye! Mahal kita, have a good night! Always be happy everyone, always be healthy, and let’s meet again with a smiling face.”

The fans expressed their immense love towards Baekhyun and prepared fan projects for him, one of which is the Reve chocolate banner with a message printed on it- “Baekhyunie Our Reverie, Sweet as Chocolate. Soft as a Dream.” They also prepared a video message for him and a cloud light that made him smile from ear to ear.
