XLOV brings out ultimate energy with Filipino EVOLs during their 2-day mall tour in Manila
“Genderless” K-pop group XLOV has finally met their Filipino fans, EVOLs, for the first time as they performed for mall shows in Manila as part of their first promo tour in the Philippines, held at Robinsons Las Piñas and Ayala Malls Market Market last October 1-2, 2025.
Through the two-day mall tour, XLOV was able to showcase their impressive live performing skills, charmingly sassy personalities, and genuine sides to the Manila crowd. Upon their appearances, the group was met with loud cheers and high energy from the Filipino fans which pleasantly surprised the members.
“We were waiting for the Filipino energy, and you guys are not joking. I can feel the energy. Thank you guys so much,” XLOV’s leader, Wumuti, said.
Starting off with lively self-introductions, the members were able to capture the audience’s attention from the get-go as their unique aura radiated throughout the venue. For their first stage, XLOV performed the bold B-side track “BIZNESS” from their 2nd EP “I ONE,” displaying their cool dance skills while the crowd chanted “Dance, dance, dance” along with them during the chorus.
To introduce a bit of the Filipino culture to the group, the host taught Tagalog phrases to the members, such as “Mag-ingay!” “Mahal ko kayo!” “Gutom na ako,” and “Sigaw!” Meanwhile, the members showed off how they already learned the use of “po” in expressions like “Kumusta po?” “Hi po!” and “Thank you po!”
Rui also prepared special sentences to say, such as “Filipino EVOLs, you’re really walang eme-eme,” and “Ang bongga niyong lahat!” which gained enthusiastic reactions from the audience.
Continuing on with the show, XLOV proceeded to perform their heartfelt fan song “1 of LOV” dedicated to their fandom, EVOL.
“This time in the Philippines, we felt a lot of love and support from you guys. This is so heartwarming and touching. I just want to take this love forever,” Wumuti shared.
In an amusing segment of the tour, the group presented a twerking lesson where they asked fans for a sample of their twerks, and the members gave tips for twerking afterwards. XLOV and Filipino EVOLs really matched each other’s fun vibes!
“I love your energy, so hot energy!” Hyun said.
For their most-awaited stage, XLOV performed the title track of their first comeback, “1&Only,” known for its dynamic choreography and the iconic “Energy! Energy!” cheer from the fans.
“You guys’ energy made us so happy today, so excited like crazy today. We’re so glad, and we’re so lucky being here and having you guys here. Let’s promise to go forever, okay?” Wumuti said.
One highlight of the tour was when XLOV happily granted the audience’s request for an encore, where they performed their debut song “Imma Be” on the spot at Ayala Malls Market Market. The Robinsons Las Piñas mall show was also special, as a few lucky fans were chosen through a raffle draw to take solo photos with the group.
During the event, XLOV made sure to express their appreciation and gratitude for the warm welcome they received from the audience.
“We came to the Philippines for the first time, and I’m so happy that we met this many EVOLs. I love Philippines!” Rui said.
“Thank you so much for making our first time in the Philippines a happy memory! We’ll work hard to go to a bigger stage for our EVOLs,” Haru said.
To show support for the group’s first promotions in Manila, Filipino fans prepared hand banners saying, “EVOL always turn it up for XLOV!” and “EVOL’s warmth will always let XLOV shine forever.”
“You guys showed us the true power and love, so I think everything is possible. We’ll work harder and show you guys what XLOV is,” Wumuti said.
“I think I’m going to remember this day forever,” Rui shared.
“It’s like a dream. Thank you, salamat po. Let’s go together forever, EVOLs! Mahal na mahal ko kayo!” Hyun said.
The members conveyed their desire to come back again to the Philippines, maybe for their comeback or even for a concert next time. They also mentioned their wish to get first place in a music show, asking for the fans’ votes and support.
“Thank you for everything today. We feel a lot of love, we feel a lot of energy. And you gave us such a heartwarming time today. I think we can’t forget this forever. So, we just want to say, love you, Filipino EVOLs!” Wumuti said.
