Seo In Guk creates sweet moments for Filipino Heartriders during his “Heart Cookie” fan meeting in Manila
Korean actor Seo In Guk from “Reply 1997,“ “Doom at Your Service,“ “Café Minamdang,“ and “Death’s Game,“ has returned to the Philippines for his “Heart Cookie” Asia tour stop in Manila! Seo In Guk first met his Filipino fans during his fan meeting in 2023. He was also given the title of the Philippines’ Celebrity Tourism Ambassador for Korea back in February.
This September 20, Seo In Guk kept his promise and has once again reunited with Filipino Heartriders at the SM North EDSA Skydome.

Seo In Guk opened the show with a performance of his song “My Love,” serenading the fans with his soulful voice.
“Magandang gabi! Ako si Seo In Guk,” the actor greeted enthusiastically. “Thank you so much for coming to my fan meeting today. I’ll really appreciate if you could enjoy this time comfortably with me. Let’s have a happy time together,” he said through an interpreter.
Seo In Guk also expressed that he was really excited to see his Filipino fans once again. “Philippines is a very friendly country to me. And your food is amazing. I feel great about meeting Filipinos here because they’re very kind and hospitable to me. Also, I can feel your passion through my flesh, so I really get happy every time,” he shared.


Talking about “Better Late Than Single,” a dating program that In Guk hosts, he said that they will be having a Season 2 thanks to the love the show received.
When asked about his ideal date in the Philippines, Seo In Guk shared that he liked Cebu the last time he went there for a drama filming. Thus, he suggested going to the sea and feeding the fish to enjoy together.
The actor also shared about his action scenes for his role as Wonseung in his latest drama “Twelve,” which had a story based on Chinese zodiac animals.


Starting with the “Heart to Heart” segment, Seo In Guk and Filipino Heartriders got to learn more about each other based on the polls that fans voted on before the show started. Here, Seo In Guk shared that he enjoys doing “realistic, everyday acting” and that he wants to try on an antagonist role someday. He also revealed that he has two upcoming romantic comedy projects, “Boyfriend on Demand” and “Back to Work.”
In the “Heart Talk” segment, Seo In Guk got to read sincere messages written by his Filipino fans. He also prepared a cover of “Ikaw” by Yeng Constantino, which drew lively reactions from the audience.


Showing more of his singer side, Seo In Guk proceeded to perform his songs “Distant Fate,” an OST for “Doom at Your Service,“ and “Out of Time.” Fans fell in love once again with his impressive singing skills.
Followed by the “Heartest” corner, the audience had a fun time trying to guess Seo In Guk’s drawings, where selected fans earned prizes for their correct answers.


Lucky fans also had the chance to get up close with Seo In Guk during the “Heart Relay” segment, where they were divided into teams and played games like sipa, ddakji, and tuho (arrow-throwing). This was an enjoyable moment for the players and the audience alike, as everyone saw In Guk doing his best in the relay with the contestants.
As a surprise for the event-goers, Seo In Guk prepared a “Lucky Draw” segment, where he gave out special gifts like Polaroid photos, his personal cap, and even brand-new AirPods, all complete with his autograph, to randomly selected fans.


Meanwhile, Filipino Heartriders prepared hand banners saying, “Forever love, Our One and Only Star” as well as a video project for In Guk containing clips of their fan-led initiatives for the community, showing how the actor inspired them to become better versions of themselves. Fans also wished Seo In Guk a happy birthday in advance and sang him a birthday song.
Upon watching, Seo In Guk was evidently delighted and expressed his appreciation, saying, “Thank you so much for being my fan. I’m so proud of you guys.”
“I’m very thankful that my fans are actually doing a lot of good deeds in this society, and I want to appreciate that so much. I’m very grateful because I feel like I’ve received a gift that is incomparable to anything. I want to be a person who whenever you think of me, you can be proud of me,” In Guk said.

To end the night, Seo In Guk sang “Couple,” his recently released remake duet with Jung Eunji, and “All For You,“ an OST for “Reply 1997.“ He also went down the stage to get closer to the fans around the venue, filling the place with kilig as he interacted with them.
As a parting message for the audience, the actor shared his honest thoughts about the Manila show, saying, “I really hope that my fans could think that we had a precious memory together, and I also consider it as a gift for myself, too.”
“I’m very proud of you, and I’ll do my best to be an actor and singer that you could feel proud of,” Seo In Guk said.
