Xiumin successfully held his first-ever memorable “X Times ( )” fan concert in Manila!

When Xiumin said, “Kita tayo ulit” (See you again) last year to PH EXO-Ls, he really meant it!

On May 10, New Frontier Theater was once again filled with passionate PH EXO-Ls and captivating silver ocean as Xiumin fulfilled his promise to come back again to create more memories with the fans at his “X Times ( )” fan concert tour.

Xiumin kicked off the show with his song, Daisy, as he was serenading the crowd, EXO-Ls prepared crystal flowers and happily waved them while being mesmerized by Xiumin’s irresistible charm. “Mabuhay,” Xiumin greeted and officially welcomed everyone to his fan concert. He appreciated the crystal flowers prepared by the fans and said that it was so beautiful.

He also mentioned that while he was singing his first song, the reactions of the fans made him feel so much excitement, and he really liked it. “It feels hotter and more energetic this time,” Xiumin said while reminiscing about the moments last year when he visited the Philippines for an event.

Since this is Xiumin’s first time holding a solo fan concert, he shared that he was looking for this: “It’s just the beginning, we just started this year, so why not do it every year,” he added.

Xiumin briefly talked about the title of his fan concert, “X Times ( )”, according to him, it is an exclusive magazine that focuses this very special person, X. So, the fans can actually see the sides of which they already love but also a lot of new sides that never-been-seen before.

In the segment called “Hot Ixxue,” we learned new things about him, that he is a master of cleaning, and the song, Footsteps was the song he sang when he passed during his first audition (and he performed it again for everyone during the show).

Moreover, we all know that Xiumin is also a great actor, and he recently starred as Heo Gyun in a fantasy rom-com series. He shared that it was so hard while filming this series, but he is so grateful that many of the fans loved it. EXO-Ls got to see Heo Gyun in the flesh when Xiumin wore his hanbok costume. He was so handsome wearing it, and the fans couldn’t help but scream pogi (handsome) to him.

The adorable side of Xiumin was also seen when he danced the trending Chicken Banana challenge. EXO-Ls went wild when their request for the Cream Soda and Love Shot was granted by him.

Xiumin expressed his gratitude to everyone for making his fan concert tour such a happy and memorable one. He said he is sad because the show has to end, but he is happy and satisfied being able to have such a great show, and mentioned that he will remember all the wonderful energy of the PH EXO-Ls. He also appreciated all the fan projects prepared for him and was so touched seeing them at his fan concert.

Throughout the show, he performed a total of 11 songs, including his singles, Brand New, Serenity, Switch Off, Whee, Feedback, Can’t Help Myself, Make You Lala, Lost Paradise, and Beyond. He wrapped it up with his beautiful song, Love is U and said “Mahal Kita” to everyone. He is the sweetest!

We had so much fun spending the night with Xiumin at his first fan concert tour. He is so charming and talented. He mentioned that the next time he comes back to Manila, he will prepare a better and funnier VCR. “In Xiumin’s concert, you just have to expect everything. Cause once I do it, I do it with the best!,” he said. We will wait until that day comes. Thank you for that memorable night, our precious Xiumin. PH EXO-Ls love you so much.
