Gong Seung Yeon and Noh Sang Hyun in talks to join IU and Byeon Woo Seok in upcoming romance drama!
New stars are in talks to join IU and Byeon Woo Seok in their upcoming romance series!
On April 4, VARO Entertainment, Gong Seung Yeon’s agency revealed that the actress received a casting offer to star in Wife of a 21st Century Prince and is currently reviewing it affirmatively. Seung Yeon has recently starred in the Netflix series, Karma.
On the other hand, Love in the Big City star Noh Sang Hyun’s agency, Echo Global Group, shared that the actor has also received a casting offer in the said series and is currently under discussion.
The drama depicts the romance between a chaebol heiress named Sung Hee Joo and a prince named Lee Ahn. It is set in the 21st-century constitutional monarchy of the Republic of Korea.
Last year, IU and Byeon Woo Seok were confirmed to reunite in this series after working together in the 2016 series, Moon Lovers.
IU will portray the role of Sung Hee Joo, the beautiful and intelligent second daughter of a conglomerate family while Byeon Woo Seok will transform into a prince who doesn’t have anything despite being the son of the king.
MBC’s goal is to release Wife of a 21st Century Prince next year.
