Medical thriller drama "Hyper Knife" starring Park Eun Bin and Sul Kyung Gu debuts on Disney+!

A New Medical thriller drama finally debuted on Disney+!

Hyper Knife depicts the story of the intense conflict between Se Ok, a genius surgeon, and her mentor and supervising doctor, Deok Hee. Albeit Se Ok’s unparalleled skill with a scalpel, she finds herself tossed aside and stripped of her medical license, which was caused by her mentor, Deok Hee.

Refusing to let go of her life’s work, Se Ok continues to carry out back-alley operations for some of society’s least desirable individuals until her former mentor comes asking for her help. Se Ok is torn between the chance to successfully carry out an impossible operation or exact her revenge on the man who ruined her medical career.

Park Eun Bin brings to life the role of Jeong Se Ok, a visionary neurosurgeon, while the role of Choi Deok Hee is portrayed by actor Sul Kyung Gu, a globally acclaimed neurosurgeon who expelled his former mentee.

Moreover, actors Yoon Chan Young and Park Byung Eun will star as Seo Young Joo and Han Hyun Ho in the series, respectively. Young Joo acts as Se Ok’s guardian and Hyun Ho is an anesthesiologist who admires Se Ok’s exceptional skills.

This 8-episode series is penned by Kim Sun Hee, who previously worked on Quiz from God: Reboot , and will be helmed by Kim Jung Hyun, the man behind the dramas Crazy Love and My Fellow Citizens.

2 episodes will be released every Wednesday. Hyper Knife is now streaming on Disney+.
