Spotify welcomes RADAR KOREA’s newest artist, BABYMONSTER

Last October 24, Spotify announced that BABYMONSTER has been selected as the newest RADAR KOREA artist!

Spotify’s RADAR program supports emerging artists and helps in strengthening artists’ connections with fans and new listeners. Since 2020, the program has helped over 900 rising talents worldwide to be spotlighted. In Asia, the program has elevated artists like NMIXX, LE SSERAFIM, RIIZE, BINI, Maki, and Hev Abi.

Artists have been featured on more than 5,000 Spotify editorial playlists, and have, on average, seen a 40% increase in monthly listeners. There was also a 30% growth in streams six months after becoming RADAR artists.

BABYMONSTER quickly caught the attention of many with their powerful performances and unique edgy sounds. As of October 2024, BABYMONSTER has over 7 million monthly listeners and 2.6 million followers on Spotify. BABYMONSTER’s most-streamed song on Spotify is “SHEESH,” which also ranked #5 on Spotify’s Global Impact List for South Korea.

Spotify’s RADAR program will support BABYMONSTER with its best-in-class editorial support and further broadcast their talent in the global music scene. Exclusive content will also be released on its K-Pop ON! YouTube channel. 

This November, fans can also look forward to catching BABYMONSTER at RADAR LIVE. It is an initiative that broadcasts RADAR Korea artists to a broader audience through interactive experiences.
