Kim Soo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah to star in the upcoming Disney+ series, “Knock Off”!
It’s confirmed! Kim Soo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah to star in one drama together!
Knocked Off depicts the story of a man whose life is ruined in the wake of the ‘97 Asian financial crisis and finds himself drawn into a counterfeit market.
Following the success of his drama Queen of Tears, Kim Soo Hyun is gearing up to star as Kim Sung Joon, an ordinary office worker who gets involved in a counterfeit market because of the IMF crisis.
He is known for his excellent portrayal of his roles in the series, Dream High, Moon Embracing the Sun, My Love from the Star, The Producers, It’s Okay to Not be Okay, and One Ordinary Day.
On the other hand, Jo Bo Ah transforms into a special judicial police officer named Song Hye Jung. She is also the ex-girlfriend of Sung Joon who has a task to put to stop the counterfeit market.
Jo Bo Ah starred in a fantasy romantic series, Destined With You. She is also remarkable for her roles in the dramas, My Strange Hero, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, and Military Prosecutor Doberman.
Knocked Off will be helmed by director Park Hyun Suk, the man behind the series, Uncontrollably Fond and Song of the Bandits. It is penned by writer Han Jung Hoon who previously worked as well in the Song of the Bandits.
Get ready for this dramatic, dangerous, and crime-ridden series which is set to be released in 2025 exclusively on Disney+!
