Courage, bond, selflessness: 5 striking scenes from Demon Slayer

“Kimetsu no Yaiba,” also known as Demon Slayer, is an anime series featuring the journey of Kamado Tanjiro in becoming one of the Demon Slayer Corps.

To provide a glimpse of the story, Tanjiro has a younger sister named “Nezuko” who turned into a demon after a tragic incident and as he seeks ways and help on how he can turn Nezuko back into being a human, he encounters challenges and that’s how it started.

Apart from the superb animation and great storyline, here are some of the significant scenes from the anime that are surely memorable to every Demon Slayer fan!

Inosuke calling Tanjiro with incorrect names

Kamado Tanjiro? No, it’s “Kamaboko Gonpachiro,” as per Inosuke who repeatedly mistakes Tanjiro for various names.

In episode 14 of season 1, Inosuke calling Tanjiro the wrong names is one of those scenes that made us laugh and root for him to finally say Tanjiro’s name correctly. Aside from Inosuke’s face reveal in season 1, this also marked the first encounter of the chaotic and turned into a dynamic trio – Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke.

Zenitsu’s Breathe of Thunder: First Form

Zenitsu left an impression as someone who always yell, cry, and gets easily frightened. But, during episode 17, viewers somehow understand where Zenitsu is coming from. This episode is a mix of a battle with a demon and a flashback during his training days.

As Zenitsu fought with this certain spider demon, he was able to exhibit again his Breath of Thunder, First Form: Thunderclap, and Flash, but this time, with more intensity. Zenitsu’s tenacity is indeed admirable in this scene.

Rengoku’s scene in Mugen Train Arc

As one of the “Hashira,” Rengoku played a big role during the Mugen Train Arc as they saved the lives of people and fought Akaza as well, one of the demons of “Twelve Kizuki.”

In this arc, Rengoku showcased not only his strength and wisdom but also on how he impart positive impact and inspiration to others. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke surely learned a lot from Rengoku.

Nezuko conquering the sun

After a lot of challenges and sacrifices, finally, Nezuko was finally able to conquer being exposed to the sun during the Swordsmith Village Arc. This has been Tanjiro’s long-awaited moment and ultimately, it happened.

Tanjiro showcasing his cooking skills

In addition to being an amazing brother and a compassionate friend, Tanjiro is also a great cook. During the Hashira Training Arc, he also prepared and cooked savory foods for his fellow members of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Since Demon Slayer is an ongoing anime and as we approach the highly anticipated “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle” movie, surely, there are still a lot of memorable scenes that we will watch and encounter as we go along with the adventures of the characters and count on the success of the Demon Slayer Corps.
