Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon drops new single “Heaven”
Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon is back as a soloist with a new song “Heaven”! This marks her first comeback this year after she released the EP “To. X” last November 2023.
“Heaven” is a dance-pop song that highlights Taeyeon’s skilled singing and the combination of rhythmic guitar and synth sounds, giving a dreamy feeling like that of heaven. The lyrics convey the message of a long-time thirst and desire being fulfilled in heaven.
Taeyeon’s performance and the music video’s storyline are also points to focus on, wherein the ecstatic feeling of reaching heaven is expressed through free-spirited movements.
“Heaven” is Taeyeon’s 1st single with a physical album, which will be released on August 5. It will contain a photobook and photocards, as well as a QR card that allows one to listen to the song right away.
