Byeon Woo Seok delights PH Tong-Tongs at his first-ever “Summer Letter” fan meeting in Manila!
A dream come true for every PH Tong-Tongs!
Proudly presented by PULP Live World, Byeon Woo Seok successfully wrapped up his first-ever sold-out “Summer Letter” fan meeting in Manila last June 22 at New Frontier Theater.
Ahead of the said event, an exclusive press conference was held at Shangri-La, The Fort Manila where he made a lasting impression by gifting a yellow rose to each media member and personally handing them out to show his appreciation to everyone.
In the press conference, he expressed his love and gratitude towards his PH Tong-Tongs for their warm welcome and shared thoughts about his acting career and what he feels about the success of his recent hit drama, Lovely Runner.
The fan meeting itself was filled with much joy and excitement. Byeon Woo Seok charmed the crowd with his vocal prowess as he kicked off the event with the song Loveholic, one of the OSTs of his drama, Lovely Runner.
Lucky fans had the chance to interact with Byeon Woo Seok on stage and recreate iconic scenes from Lovely Runner, namely the photo booth and cherry blossom scenes. They had their own heart-fluttering Im Sol moments. Sana all!
It was followed by a Fun Bingo Game, wherein the actor humorously struggled with a mini bike challenge due to his towering height. He ultimately succeeded by pushing the bike with his feet. During a “This or That” segment, he entertained fans with his reaction when asked to choose between a haunted room or a room with a cockroach.
PH Tong-Tongs also had the chance to learn more about him and get closer to him in a Q&A session. He wholeheartedly answered the questions from the fans.
Since this is Byeon Woo Seok’s first time in the Philippines, PH Tong-Tongs did not let this chance slip away and prepared a heartfelt video message to him to show their immense love towards him.
Woo Seok was so touched and the video moved him to tears. He revealed that he was not feeling well and was worried about not being able to give his best during the event. He said, “I was worried I wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy this moment with you because of my health.” Despite all that, he mentioned that the energy and passionate love of his Filipino fans uplifted him and brought him immense joy. “Your energy helped me enjoy the fan meeting, even though I felt emotional and overwhelmed.”
Toward the end of the fan meeting, Byeon Woo Seok sang I Think I Did, another soundtrack of Lovely Runner, and concluded the event by performing the song Sudden Shower, as confetti rained down inside the theater, creating a magical atmosphere.
Team Labas Tong-Tongs who weren’t able to secure a ticket for the event had the opportunity to have a glimpse of him as Woo Seok rolled down the window of his car to wave goodbye to them. What a fan service! He is so genuine and deserves all the love in this world!
