Experience love and superpowers with new drama “The Atypical Family”
“The Atypical Family” is a 2024 JTBC drama about fantasy and romance where a man is born into a family with different extraordinary abilities, but they loses it due to certain circumstances. Things get more interesting when a new girl comes into their lives.
Jang Ki Yong – known for his roles in “My Roommate is a Gumiho,” “Come and Hug Me,” “Now, We are Breaking Up,” and “Search: WWW” – will be playing the role of Bok Gwi Joo, who used to have powers to time travel but lost them due to depression.
Chun Woo Hee – known for her roles in “Be Melodramatic,” “Argon,” and “Delightfully Deceitful” – will be playing the role of Do Da Hae, a mysterious woman who becomes intertwined with the supernatural family as if by fate.
The chemistry between Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee is looked forward to, as they get involved with an inevitable narrative of fate and become each other’s saviors.
The performance of Bok Gwi Joo’s family with superpowers is also anticipated. With the portrayal of experienced actors in the industry like Go Doo Shim, Kim Su Hyun, Park So Yi, and Oh Man Seok, the charm of their characters is expected to be shown.
The immersive story is said to take place in a fresh setting with a dynamic content and warm emotions, sending a message of hope to its viewers. The characters’ conflicts and efforts aim to provide empathy and comfort to the viewers.
