On April 8, it was revealed that Queen of Tears will reportedly have 2 special episodes. Everything about it is currently being discussed. It is not just a collection of highlights but is expected to be different from the special episodes that tvN has previously presented.
Queen of Tears depicts the story of a married couple, Hong Hae In, a third-generation chaebol of Queens Group, and Baek Hyun Woo, a legal director of Queens Group. They go through a dizzying crisis but their love blooms again miraculously.
Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun play the role of Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo, respectively. This is their first drama together and yet, they showed a perfect overflowing chemistry in the series that made every viewer’s heart pound.
On April 7, the drama’s 10th episode soared to its highest viewership rating, recording a rating of 19.0% according to Nielsen Korea surpassing the record of Reply 1988 which recorded an average viewership rating of 18.8%.
The special episodes are slated to air on May 4 and 5.
