“Jujutsu Kaisen” claims the title of World’s Most Popular Anime by Guinness World Records, surpassing “One Piece”
“Jujutsu Kaisen” now ranks as the world’s most in-demand animated TV show, beating “One Piece” according to Guinness World Records. This major change comes as “Jujutsu Kaisen” outdid “Attack on Titan,” the previous winner since 2020, becoming the most sought anime. This remarkable achievement is backed by data from the data-science firm Parrot Analytics, which reported that “Jujutsu Kaisen” has a global demand rating that is 71.2 times greater than the average TV show.

Parrot Analytics figures out demand by looking at how much people watch, engage with, and talk about a show. They track a huge amount of data daily from video views to online chats and research.
The anime got a big push at the year’s end, with fresh episodes of season two coming out in July and going until December. Its popularity hit the roof on December 29, being 128 times more in demand than a normal TV show.
A key reason for the anime’s hit status is its big following among young viewers. With 71.3% of its watchers being Gen Z, it reached the youth more effectively than both “One Piece” and “Attack on Titan.” This passionate group of fans was crucial in naming “Jujutsu Kaisen” as the top anime of the year.
As “Jujutsu Kaisen” keeps winning hearts across the globe, it’ll be exciting to see how the anime world shifts and if it can keep up as the top choice in the coming years. For anyone who loves anime or is just curious, “Jujutsu Kaisen” is definitely a hit series that has made a big splash in the anime circle worldwide.
