“GET BACK iKON LIMITED TOUR” in Manila: Another iKONIC night to remember!
After 8 months, PH iKONIC and iKON reunited again!
Following their Take-Off concert in Manila last year, iKON once again brought so much joy to PH iKONIC as they held their Get Back: iKON Limited Tour in Manila last April 7 at Smart Araneta Coliseum prior to their military enlistment.
Manila was the last stop for this event and as the quote says, “Save the best for last”, it was definitely one of the best! The venue was filled with a beautiful red ocean, loud cheers, and memorable moments were created during that iKONIC night.
Electrifying Performances
PH iKONIC was so ecstatic when their precious iKON came up on stage, welcoming them with their loudest cheers as they kicked off the concert with their song, Tantara wherein everyone was singing and dancing along.
They continued to heat the stage up with their song, SINOSIJAK. The crowd was singing at the top of their lungs and enjoying every moment with their beloved group.
After those electrifying performances, June greeted the crowd and said, “Long time no see Manila. I think it’s been a while since I came to Manila, I hope we can have good memories tonight”. “Let’s have fun tonight”, Song and Bobby expressed.
Moreover, Chan mentioned that he was impressed by PH iKONIC’s passionate love for them, while DK expressed his gratitude to everyone who came to their concert.
The party continued with their song, At Ease. There were no dull moments at the concert because everyone was so hyped by iKON’s jaw-dropping performances enjoying every moment with their dearest iKON.
Moreover, Song and DK talked about their solo albums. DK mentioned that he’s preparing for a solo album that will be released this year so he hopes that fans will look forward to it.
June who is not only a good singer but also a great actor mentioned that his film which was filmed 3 years ago will finally be released on April 10 and Bobby reminisced about the fan’s hotness during his Zero Gravity Tour in Manila. Chan also shared that he will be having his first solo fan meeting in Japan on April 19.
They performed their hit songs, Killing Me, Rythm Ta, Bling Bling, Love Scenario, U, Like a Movie, T.T.M., Goodbye Road, What’s Wrong, Dumb and Dumber, B-Day, Freedom, Panorama, and But You were among the songs they performed.
DK, June, and Song also performed their solo songs, LTNS, Groovin, Want You Back and It’s Call, respectively.
iKON’s Heartfelt Message to Fans
It was another memorable night to remember for iKON and PH iKONIC. The group expressed their gratitude to all the fans for their unfailing love and support.
“Thank you so much for your biggest cheers and loudest passion for us. It’s been a while since we came to Manila but every time we visit here we actually can really heal because of your passion and big love. Please wait for us with your passionate love. Thank you!” June said he was touched because the fans sang a happy birthday song for him since he celebrated his birthday on March 31. “I’m very lucky to have you. I love you” he expressed.
Bobby was the second one to deliver his last message to fans, “The date for me to go to the military has been released. Thinking about it, I’m returning around next year in November. If you guys just wait for me, I’ll come back okay? I’ll try to do my best while remembering these beautiful memories that we had tonight.”
“iKONIC, thank you so much for having a wonderful time with us. There will be a short moment when we cannot come back here but we’ll make sure that we’ll come back as a whole. We’ll be back with a better performance so please expect from us and also, I’ll do my best in the military service.”, Song said.
“Thank you so much for making this beautiful time for us. I’ll try to take ample rest after going there (military service) and we’ll make sure to come back next year so please wait for us. We love you guys so much. Thank you!” Chan’s message to all iKONIC.
DK was the last member to deliver his final message and said, “Thank you all so much for coming, We’ll surely come back as a whole as iKON and also our solo albums so please expect from us.”
The iKONIC love for iKON
PH iKONIC never fails to express their immense love and support for their beloved group iKON. They prepared a video message for them and a hand banner where a message written on it that says they will wait until the group’s next showtime.
