Golden Child’s Lee Daeyeol to star in musical theater “Oh! Happy Man”
Golden Child’s Lee Daeyeol is set to make his mark on the musical stage, taking on a new and exciting challenge.
Woollim Entertainment announced on the 25th that Lee Daeyeol will be starring in the comic musical “Oh! Happy Man.” The musical is scheduled to open at The Good Theater in Daehak-ro, Seoul on May 17th, with Lee Daeyeol taking on the role of Paul.
“Oh! Happy Man” unfolds as a charity event with priests and villagers organized in a tranquil rural cathedral. However, the event takes a dramatic turn when charity funds go missing from the afterparty. Determined to recover their lost money, the distressed brides decide to participate in the ‘God Talent’ competition to win the prize money.
In “Oh! Happy Man,” Daeyeol portrays Paul, the youngest priest who once trained to be an idol. He decided to leave behind his idol training after a change of heart during practice, choosing instead to become a priest and spread the gospel through his songs and dances. Fans and theater enthusiasts can anticipate being captivated by Daeyeol’s rich vocal tone and impressive singing skills.
The musical “Oh! Happy Man” featuring Lee Daeyeol will run at The Good Theater in Daehak-ro, Seoul from May 17 to July 27. Further details about the performances will be announced soon.
