The Tyrant depicts the story of the disappearance of a bioenhancer during the secret handover between Korean and US Intelligence agencies. They will team up to recover the dangerous bioenhancer to avoid it falling into the wrong hands.
Jo Yoon Soo who is known for her roles in the dramas The Interest of Love and The Killer’s Shopping List, plays the role of Chae Ja Gyeong, a skilled infiltator.
Former Our Blues star Cha Seung Won transforms into a cold-blooded mercenary named Im Sang. He is in charge of getting rid of the forces involved in the secret project.
Kim Seon Ho portrays the role of Director Choi, the mastermind behind the secret Korean project.
Seon Ho is popular in his roles in the dramas, Start Up and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and recently reunited with his former Welcome to Waikiki 2 co-star Moon Ga Young in Daesung’s Falling Slowly MV.
The role of Paul, a member of US the intelligence agent, will be portrayed by Kim Kang Woo.
He is currently starring as Kang Soo Ho in a newly released drama Wonderful World and this series is his second team-up with his The Childe co-star Kim Seon Ho.
The Tyrant is written and directed by Park Hoon Jung the man behind the great films New World, The Witch: Part 1 & 2, and The Childe.
