HORI7ON wins ‘Overseas Rising Star Award’ at the 11th Korean Wave Awards

On December 20th, HORI7ON attended the 11th Korean Wave Awards ceremony and won the ‘Overseas Rising Star Award’.

HORI7ON’s leader, Vinci, gave the acceptance speech and said that the group will continue to show its refreshing charm and music, mentioning their comeback that will happen in January 2024 as well.

Previously, HORI7ON won ‘Top Global Artist of the Year‘ at the 8th PPop Awards. And proving their great potential as a rising rookie group, they also won the ‘Focus Award’ at the recently concluded Asia Artist Awards 2023 where they performed a rock version of their debut title track SIX7EEN.

On his acceptance speech for the ‘Focus Award’, Vinci spoke in English, Korean, and Filipino, gaining loud cheers from the Filipino crowd. He expressed his gratitude for being a part of the beautiful relationship between the Philippines and Korea and for attending such a prestigious event that celebrates Asian talents.

He shared that last year, they were just dreaming of watching their idols’ performances live and now they were given the opportunity to participate in the same event with them.

The members are currently still active in promotions by reaching many Korean fans through ‘Serendipity Stage
