Fun is fantastic, but what if it could be four times better?
Thai stars Tay Tawan, New Thitipoom, Off Jumpol, and Gun Atthaphan multiplied the fun factor by four, which took the fan experience to a whole new level in their ‘BELUCA 1st Fan Meeting in Manila‘ on Saturday, December 16, at the New Frontier Theater.
We might say that the four actors may have shared a chaotic stage, but that sole reason made the fan meeting four times as fun! From the playful banter, kilig-worthy segments, and pure entertainment from the four, this is one of the best fan meetings in the Philippines so far for a happy Thai drama fan.
The fan meeting started with a special performance from the four actors. The atmosphere was electric as the crowd eagerly awaited their beloved stars on stage, and finally, they were here!
Extra kudos to the fan meeting’s host, Ms. Mela Habijan, for making the night extra fun. Her exchange of banter with the actors, along with her playful and elated mood while hosting, made the interaction between the actors and the fans even better. The theater is just filled with laughter whenever she has playful jesting to drop.
Questions are asked of the actors. When asked what food OffGun will cook for their Filipino fans, Off answered a hearty ‘tom yum’ soup, while Gun said ‘khanom pang na moo,’ which is a Thai pork toast.
Meanwhile, the host asked TayNew what thoughts were going through their minds right now. New said ‘mahal kita’, and Tay blurted Tagalog words like ‘gwapo’ and ‘jowa.’
In 2023, the spotlight shone brightly on the four stars, each headlining their own series. OffGun has ‘Cooking Crush,’ while TayNew enchanted viewers with ‘Cherry Magic,’ both captivating shows currently airing. Gun shared that his cooking skills improved this year because of the series he was making.
Every actor displayed their individual talents, captivating the audience with their distinct performances. Tay, New, Off, and Gun each owned the stage with their solo acts, leaving an unforgettable mark on their fans.
At the end of their performances, Off mentioned that he dedicated it to their fans, who have shown them so much love. Gun also added in Thai, “The song that we picked is meaningful. We are happy to share that song with everyone here.”
OffGun played a segment called “Kitchen Crushies,” inspired by their current series, where they need to pick a Filipino food with a question alongside it.
When asked how their current characters are different from their 2019 characters, Third and Khao from ‘Theory of Love,’ Gun said: “Third was the only one who has feelings and love for Khai. While in the current, both of them have feelings for each other.”
The host did not skip this moment but teased Gun being “gun-da,” a wordplay for the Tagalog word ganda, which means pretty.
On the other hand, TayNew played “This or That,” revealing many things about the two. In the segment, it was revealed that Tay uses more time to get ready every day, is more clumsy, has more bloopers during shoots, and does impulse buying. Meanwhile, New is most likely to be hungry. Both of them agreed to have a cute smile and great dancing skills.
That evening, the four actors unleashed their competitive spirits during a game. Split into Team TayNew and Team OffGun, they dove headfirst into the challenge, revealing their playful yet competitive sides.
In the end, Team TayNew won, which means Team OffGun has to do consequences as non-winners. Off and Gun showed their cute side as they needed to pose in front of the camera with the camera poses they needed to do.
The fan meeting ended with a special performance from the four, singing their own songs ‘Too Cute To Handle’ and ‘No Fairytales’.
They have also left a heartwarming message for their fans who went to the fan meeting that night. Off said in Thai, “I would like to thank everyone for making my day. Here is the loudest crowd.” Filipino fans are truly the best and Off said he would love to meet them all every month.
Gun added in Thai, “Thank you for giving me good energy even though it is a little tiring traveling. But seeing everyone excited to meet us, I don’t feel tired anymore. I’m so excited to meet everyone.”
Tay expressed how thankful he is for their fans. He added: “It’s the best Christmas gift for us. We will come back here together again and again and again. Thank you so much, and mahal kita!”
New ended the farewell messages by saying, “Thank you for the warm welcome. I want to thank everyone for the good energy. We love you!”
For their final song, the actors sang ‘Kan Goo’ from the hit series 2gether.
Tay, New, Off, and Gun brought their fans on a thrilling journey, showing that when you multiply fun by four, it becomes an unforgettable experience.
