LYKN Brings Dusk and Dawn, and Lots of Love to Manila
Watching LYKN live for the first time was definitely an experience.
From the moment they opened with ‘First Sight,’ ‘who says,’ and ‘Feel Like Me,’ the Manila crowd was already full of energy. It did not take long before everyone was singing, screaming, and dancing along.
The members took a short break to greet their Filipino fans and shared how much they had missed them. The feeling was clearly mutual, as the crowd responded with some of the loudest cheers of the night. They continued the show with ‘May I?,’ ‘No Worries,’ and more of their songs before moving on to their individual solo stages.
Nut performed คิดถึงจัง (มาหาหน่อย) by Pramote Pathan, showing a softer side that gave the audience a different look at his performance style. Tui followed with ‘Rewrite’ by ZENTYARB X PUNYARB. William, Lego, and Hong also prepared their own solo stages, giving each member a moment to shine on their own.
Of course, the concert was not all about performances. Some of the most memorable moments came from the members simply interacting with the fans.
At one point, Nut had the Manila crowd laughing when he jokingly asked, “Are you ube? Because I only want U BAE.” And yes, the Filipino LYKYOUs definitely loved it.
William also took his chance to prove that he is 100% green flag, which naturally had the fans screaming even louder. Meanwhile, fans were already looking forward to Lego’s upcoming solo, adding even more excitement to the night.
The concert continued with more crowd favorites, including ‘No Way,’ ‘Umm Umm,’ and many more songs. By then, the entire venue was practically singing along with LYKN.
As the night came to an end, the members shared their hopes of coming back to Manila soon. But even after the final songs, it was obvious that the night was not something the fans wanted to end. The cheers continued, with fans calling out the members’ names and showing just how much they enjoyed having LYKN in Manila again.
Maybe that is what makes a live concert special. You can listen to the songs anytime, watch the music videos, and follow the artists online. But being in the same room, hearing thousands of fans sing together, and watching the artists react to that energy is something you cannot quite get from a screen.
