On November 29, the 5th generation K-POP global boy group ZEROBASEONE announced its Japan debut in March 2024.

The group will promote under Sony Music Labels in March 2024 and will also hold their first Japanese fan meeting in the same month.

ZEROBASEONE consists of nine different boys running towards the same goal and the same dream. Han Yujin, Kim Jiwoong, Park Gunwook, Kim Gyuvin, Kim Taerae, Ricky, Seok Matthew, Sung Hanbin, and Zhang Hao were announced as the final members of the group through a survival program and debuted in July 2023.

The group’s first mini album, “YOUTH IN THE SHADE,” sold an astonishing 1.24 million copies on its first day, making it a million-seller and naming them “monster rookies.”

Meanwhile, their second mini album “MELTING POINT” released on November 6th has achieved a double million seller with sales exceeding 2.13 million copies in the first week.

In addition, the group bagged three awards: Worldwide Fans Choice, Favorite New Artist, and MAMA Best New Male Artist (ROTY) at the recently concluded MAMA 2023, which happened in Japan on November 28–29.
