I-LAND2: N/a is set to air next year!
On November 29, it was announced that the new girl group debut project ‘I-LAND2’ has been confirmed to air in April next year.
Mnet’s ‘I-Land 2: N/a’ garnered more than 20,000 applicants all over the world through a global audition tour of 10 countries that ended in Seoul last October.
In the teaser video, ‘I-Land 2: N/a’ was revealed. It was further explained in the description that the meaning behind the name of the program is “N,” which stands for unique perspective, while “α,” or alpha, stands for infinite possibilities.
The second season of Mnet’s ‘I-Land’ features world-class producer Teddy, who created hit songs for global K-Pop artists such as Big Bang, 2NE1, Jeon Somi, and Blackpink.
In addition, the girl group that will be formed through Mnet’s ‘I-Land 2: N/a’ will be managed by CJ ENM’s label WakeOne Entertainment, the home of 5th generation’s leading boy group, ZEROBASEONE, former IZONE member turned soloist Jo Yuri, and former WANNAONE member Kim Jaehwan.
Meanwhile, Season 1 of ‘I-Land’, which aired on Mnet in June 2020, birthed the boy group ENHYPEN under BELIFT LAB, a subsidiary of HYBE Corporation.
