Live-action series “Yu Yu Hakusho” will premiere worldwide on Netflix on December 14
Save the date! This December 14, “Yu Yu Hakusho”, the beloved manga gets a live-action adaptation that will debut exclusively on Netflix. The cast will include Takumi Kitamura, Jun Shison, Kanata Hongo, and Shuhei Uesugi. It will be directed by Sho Tsukikawa.
It has been more than three decades since this beloved manga first captured the hearts and imagination of the readers. The legendary author, Yoshihiro Togashi, made waves when it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for four years from 1990. The series will be a refreshing experience, both new and old fans will be able to enjoy it!
Netflix utilizes a unique global one-team production strategy that includes both Japan and the United States for this project. This approach gives guaranteed quality and authenticity for “Yu Yu Hakusho”, a similar approach to the “ONE PIECE” live-action series.
