Let’s get to know Juri Takahashi – From AKB48 to Rocket Punch
Juri Takahashi, a name that resonates with fans of Japanese and South Korean pop music, has made an indelible mark in the industry with her powerful vocals, mesmerizing performances, and unwavering dedication.

Born on October 3, 1997, this multitalented artist has a remarkable journey from her beginnings in Japan to her current role as a member of South Korean girl group Rocket Punch.
AKB48
Juri’s musical journey commenced when she successfully passed AKB48’s 12th generation auditions on February 20, 2011. Her talent and potential were evident, leading to her promotion to the newly formed Team 4 in March 2012.

However, her journey within AKB48 took an unexpected turn when Team 4 was disbanded in August 2012, and she was transferred to Team A. Despite these changes, Juri continued to shine, and in the group’s General Elections in 2014, she secured her first ranking at an impressive 28th place.
Produce 48
In 2018, Juri embarked on a new challenge by participating in the reality survival show “Produce 48.” Her talent and determination garnered her a respectable ranking of 16, demonstrating her potential on an international stage and hinting at her aspirations beyond Japan.
Rocket Punch
On March 4, 2019, Juri announced her graduation from AKB48, marking the end of an era and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her career. What followed was a significant announcement – she had signed an exclusive contract with the South Korean label Woollim Entertainment.

On July 23, 2019, the world was introduced to Rocket Punch, a new six-member girl group under Woollim Entertainment, with Juri Takahashi as one of its promising members. The group made their official debut on August 7, 2019, with the release of their first extended play (EP) titled ‘Pink Punch.’ Rocket Punch quickly gained recognition for their unique style, captivating music, and stellar performances.
Queendom Puzzle
In May 2023, Juri, along with fellow Rocket Punch members Yeonhee and Suyun, embarked on a new challenge by participating in Mnet’s exciting survival show, “Queendom Puzzle.” This adventure was a testament to her unwavering commitment to musical excellence.

Although Juri was eventually eliminated in the final episode, finishing 12th overall, her participation showcased her dedication and determination to push her boundaries.
