Han Seungwoo is on the road to becoming a rising solo K-idol. His fans may know that he is an all-rounder K-Pop idol that can sing, dance, and rap, which is why he is loved by fans across different generations. Pre-debut project with Plan A Boys

Han Seungwoo was part of the pre-debut boy group named, Plan A Boys. The name of the group was named after their agency, A Cube Entertainment (before the agency was renamed to Plan A Entertainment during that time). His agency was known for managing the K-Pop girl group, Apink.

Plan A Boys participated in their reality program titled, The Story of Seven Men and Me. The program was aired by Mnet on August 30, 2016. Aside from this, they also performed with Huh Gak with the song, #Begin Again.

Months later, this pre-debut group will debut as the boy group known as VICTON.

Debuting with VICTON

Han Seungwoo is part of the K-Pop boy group, VICTON, where he debuted as the leader under IST Entertainment (formerly known as Plan A Entertainment). The group debuted on November 9, 2016, with the song, I’m fine.

Aside from being the leader, he is also the group’s rapper and vocalist.

Participation in Produce X 101

Han Seungwoo was given the opportunity to showcase more of his talents when he participated in Produce X 101, the 4th season of the survival reality show, Produce 101. He and co-VICTON member, Byungchan participated to represent their agency and performed BTS’ Save Me.

Throughout the series, he was very much commended for his outstanding vocals, dancing skills, idol aura, and leadership skills.

Because of his talents and popularity, Seungwoo finished 3rd place and earned his spot in the boy group, X1.

Debuting with X1

X1 officially debuted on August 27, 2019, with the song, Flash. The song trended that it reached No. 6 on Billboard’s Social 50 Chart, even before it was released.

Since Seungwoo has shown his strong vocals in Produce X 101, he continued to do so when he debuted with X1 and was voted as the group’s leader in the group’s first VLive video.

X1 had the chance to perform internationally at KCON Thailand last 2019.

Months after X1’s debut, they disbanded on January 6, 2020. Seungwoo then returned to his group, VICTON with the title track, “Howling” that’s part of the EP Album, Continuous.

Solo activities

Because of Seungwoo’s experience in the K-Pop industry, he is given a chance to debut as a solo artist.

Han Seungwoo debuted with the song, “Sacrifice” on August 10, 2020. The song was part of his solo album titled Fame.

Seungwoo has proved that he is K-Pop idol material through his singing, rapping, and dancing skills. He also proved that he can act when he debuted as an actor in the web drama, Love #Hashtag.

After that, he released his second album, Fade, with the title track, “See You Again.”

Han Seungwoo then enlisted for his military service last July 2021 but was discharged last January 2023.

Seungwoo’s recent comeback, “Dive Into” was released on June 27, 2023. His comeback track was part of the album, Frame.
