NCT DoJaeJung shares favorite line from ‘Perfume’ at media conference in Manila

NCT sub-unit ‘NCT DoJaeJung‘ composed of Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo held a media conference last June 25 at Glorietta Activity Center. The media conference was attended by members of the media, lucky fans, and the fan benefits winners from the fanmeeting.

Before the media conference even started, Czennies were cheering and screaming for the boys. As NCT DoJaeJung finally made their way onto the stage, the cheers went louder and we can not even hear any other sounds.

For the first question, the boys were asked about their preferences regarding places to visit and food to try in the Philippines. Jaehyun expressed his excitement to taste Halo-halo and fortunately, he got the chance to try it immediately after the media conference. All three of them unanimously agreed that they like to eat the famous Filipino dish, Lechon.

When asked what fans can expect from NCT DoJaeJung in the near future, Jungwoo expressed his desire for a concert to take place. Regarding their reaction upon discovering that they would debut as a trio, Doyoung sincerely expressed their overwhelming happiness. In addition, they believed that the fans would also be happy about their debut as a sub-unit. Jaehyun shared that he was curious about what concept will they present to the fans while Jungwoo shared that he is both happy and excited.

Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo have been with each other for a long time now. They are also part of NCT 127 and were asked about the new things they have learned from one another since their debut as NCT DoJaeJung. Reflecting on their experiences, Jungwoo highlighted Doyoung’s meticulous nature, praising his attention to detail and his tendency to provide opportunities.

Additionally, Jungwoo Jaehyun is also very detailed. He also describes Jaehyun as a sweet person who treats him like a younger brother. Furthermore, Jungwoo joyfully shared that both Doyoung and Jaehyun have treated him to delicious food.

According to Jaehyun, “He (Doyoung) really likes swimming. The day we came to the Philippines, even before when we were on the flight, he was asking if we have swimming suits and if we were ready to go on a swim.”

“Even before I already knew that Jaehyun and Jungwoo are wonderful singers but during the preparation and creation of the NCT DoJaeJung unit album ‘Perfume’, I noticed that this album allowed them to wear the musical styles that fit them well,” said Doyoung.

NCT DoJaeJung answered a question from Annyeong Oppa, “What is your favorite line from your song ‘Perfume’?” Jaehyun answered that his favorite line is the Jiteun nongdoe, which has gone viral on social media. He said that he like it because he like the texture of the word and it feels very good.

Fans then requested for a ‘sample’. Without hesitation, the trio joyfully obliged, harmoniously singing that particular part. Doyoung expressed his fondness for the chorus, considering it his favorite part of the song. On the other hand, Jungwoo revealed that prior to this album, he hadn’t had many opportunities to explore rapping. However, he shared that this project provided him with the chance to try rap as well.
