With EXO-SC coming soon to Manila on May 20, 2023 at the Araneta Coliseum, let us get to know their members, Sehun and Chanyeol.
EXO-SC first debuted on July 22, 2019 with their extended play, “What a life”.
But before debuting as a duo, they first performed “We Young” on EXO’s concert tour Exo Planet 4 – The Elyxion. The song was later released digitally.
Chanyeol
Chanyeol (full name: Park Chanyeol), also known as Loey, is a rapper and vocalist for EXO. He was street cast by SM Entertainment in 2008. He has contributed to a lot of song writings for both EXO, and EXO-SC.
Outside of EXO’s activities, Chanyeol has acted in various series and dramas such as So I Married an Anti-fan (Chinese version, 2016), Secret Queen Makers (2018), The Box (2021), and many others. He is also an ambassador for Prada.
Chanyeol is known as the “Happy Virus” as he is currently seen goofing around with other members, and “Reverse Voice” because of his deep voice contrasting his baby face.
Sehun
Sehun (full name: Oh Sehun), is a lead dancer, rapper and vocalist for EXO. He was cast into SM Entertainment in 2008, going through four auditions before getting accepted.
Outside of EXO’s activities, Sehun also acts and is a cast member for Busted! (2018-2021). He has also starred in Secret Queen Makers (2018), Dokgo Rewind (2018), and many others. Sehun is also very active in the fashion scene, attending Louis Vuitton’s fashion shows, modeling for various brands, and becoming Dior’s global ambassador.
Sehun greatly cares for his fellow EXO members, and is known to pray for them every night as stated by Baekhyun in Happy Together 4.
EXO-SC is set to take the stage at Araneta Coliseum on May 20, 2023. Let us give them a warm welcome as they hold their first-ever tour as EXO-SC!
