“The Glory” Starring Song Hye Kyo is Coming to Netflix on December 30!

The Glory is a revenge K-drama that reunites Descendants of the Sun lead Song Hye Kyo, and the drama writer Kim Eun Sook.

An upcoming Netflix Original revenge-drama series, The Glory, is set to premiere on December 30, 2022.

Last week, Netflix unveiled the short yet haunting and intriguing teaser for the drama. Towards the end, Song Hye Kyo drops an eerie line that says, “There will be no mercy, so there will be no glory either.”

In addition to its stellar writer, the film is a vision of Ahn Gil Ho, the director of “Stranger” and “Memories of the Alhambra”.

Along with Hye Kyo, the drama will also star Lee Do Hyun from Hotel Del Luna and Youth of May. Other casts include Lim Ji Yeon of Money Heist: Korea and Park Sung Hoon from Joseon Exorcist.

The Glory revolves around Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo), a former victim of brutal abuse in high school. Her dream to be an architect was shattered. She needed to drop out of school after she suffered from a horrific attack. Years later, Moon Dong Eun now works as a homeroom teacher. After years of planning, she prepares an elaborate revenge scheme against her bullies.

Moreover, “The Glory” marks Song Hye Kyo’s return to the small screen after completing Now, We Are Breaking Up with Jang Ki Yong in 2021.

Meanwhile, this is the popular scriptwriter’s newest project after the fantasy romance “The King: Eternal Monarch” and the mega-hit Goblin.

As reported, the drama will have eight episodes in total and be shown in over 190 countries worldwide.
