Netflix series ‘D.P.’ returning for season 2, selected for The New York Times Best International Shows of 2021

The hit Netflix series “D.P.” is returning for season 2!

“D.P.” follows the story of soldiers An Joon Ho (Jung Hae In) and Han Ho Yeul (Koo Kyo Hwan) as they track down soldiers who deserted their posts and learn about their stories along the way.

Aside from telling the stories of the AWOL soldiers, “D.P.” also showed the lives of the soldiers who search for them.

The Netflix series is based on the webtoon “D.P. Dog Days” written by Kim Bo Tong. Director Han Jun Hee directed the Netflix series.

Not only that “D.P.” is returning for season 2, but the hit Netflix series is also selected for The New York Times Best International Shows of 2021

“D.P.” earned high praises from both domestic and international viewers for delivering hidden social issues behind the Korean military society.

Ready, Steady, Cut stated that “D.P.” is one of the finest K-drama mini-series released in 2021.

Even the chemistry between the actors and the drama’s cinematography was commended by international critics such as NME.

“D.P.” season 2 will pick up from where season 1 left off and director Han Jun Hee and writer Kim Bo Tong will once again team up to create another season that will capture the viewers around the world.
