Jang Ki Yong to Enlist in Military this August

Jang Ki Yong will be enlisting as an active military soldier soon.

On Monday, YG Entertainment confirmed the news in an official statement.

“Actor Jang Ki Yong will be enlisting on August 23, upon the completion of filming for his new drama, “Now, We are Breaking Up,” alongside Song Hye Kyo.” YG representative says.

Furthermore, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the location and time of his enlistment will not be revealed.

YG asks for the continuous support to the 28-year-old actor as he completes his mandatory service and returns in good health.

After capturing hearts as Jang Hyuk in Netflix’ movie Sweet and Sour, more projects came to his way.

The Korean star successfully wrapped-up his fantasy K-drama “My Roommate Is a Gumiho,” co-starring the lovely, Lee Hyeri. Wherein he played as Shin Woo Yeo, the heartthrob 999 years old gumiho.

Currently, Jang Ki Yong is completing the filming of his newest SBS series “Now, We Are Breaking Up” with Song Hye Kyo.
