ABS-CBN announces 'Doctor Foster' aka 'The World of the Married' PH adaptation

The hit-psychological drama originated in British titled Doctor Foster, which also gained attention as The World of the Married in South Korea’s remake, will be having a Philippine adaptation!

ABS-CBN Corporation announced on April 13 that they forged an agreement with BCC Studios with regard to the Philippine adaptation of the said award-winning drama series.

Doctor Foster revolves around a trusted doctor who suspects her husband having an affair and sets out to find the truth; she then found something that may change her life.

In relation to the agreement, Philippines marks as the drama’s sixth (6) international market license for adaptation after being adapted in France, India, Russia, Turkey, and South Korea.

The production will start later this year and will be executive by ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN COO of broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Entertainment Production head Laurenti Dyogi, and ABS-CBN Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal.
