The long wait of nineteen months and five days is finally over for Melody as BTOB’s Lee Minhyuk is back with stealing every Melody’s hearts.
He is the third member to accomplish his mandatory military service.
Due to the current COVID-19 protocol, Minhyuk who took a vacation was discharged earlier on September 2 without returning to base.
However, he remained as an active conscripted policeman until his official discharge date, September 12.
Minhyuk enlisted on February 7, 2019; then he finished his one-month basic military service at Nonsan Training Center and continued his service as conscripted policeman until discharged.
Known as BTOB’s king of fan service, Minhyuk did not leave Melody empty handed as he left them with monthly messages while waiting for his return.
To comfort Melody through music, he also released his first Korean solo album, ‘Hutazone’ in which he poured his efforts and heart out as he took part in writing every track in the album.
He also released a digital single with the other BTOB Hyung line, ‘Sorry’ during their enlistment period.
To celebrate his day of discharge, he will meet his fans again through livestream via BTOB’s official YouTube channel at 4PM PST, today.
