Jang Dong Yoon and Go Hyun Jung confirmed to star in new crime thriller series “The Mantis”

Jang Dong Yoon and Go Hyun Jung will be starring in the new SBS drama “The Mantis”! It is set to be released in 2025.

“The Mantis” is a crime thriller series about a police officer who hates his serial killer mother but needs to work with her to catch the suspect of a copycat case. It is a remake of a French series of the same name.

Jang Dong Yoon, known for his various dramas like “Like Flowers in Sand,” “My Man is Cupid,” “Search,” “The Tale of Nokdu,” and “Oasis,” will be playing the role of Cha Soo Yeol, the detective son who steps in to solve the murder case.

Go Hyun Jung, known for her dramas like “Mask Girl,” “Dear My Friends,” and “Reflection of You,” will be playing the role of Jung Yi Shin, the imprisoned serial killer nicknamed “Mantis” who brutally murdered 5 people 20 years ago and offers help to catch the culprit with the condition that his son be put in charge.
