According from a report on September 04. Jun Ji Hyun and Ju Ji Hoon will start filming their upcoming drama “Mount Jiri.”
“Mount Jiri” is a mystery drama that tells the story of park rangers who will climb the mount of Jirisan to save people entrapped at the said mountain.
Jun Ji Hyun will take the role as Seo Yi Gang. A preeminent park ranger who knows everything around mount Jirisan.
Meanwhile Ju Ji Hoon will portray the role as Kang Hyun Jo. A rookie park ranger and a former military captain who keeps a lot of secret from his past.
Moreover, “Mount Jiri” also marks the reunion of Ju Ji Hoon and Jun Ji Hyun with writer Kim Eun Hee who is also the writer behind the zombie-themed series Kingdom.
Aside from that Kim Eun Hee also wrote Korea’s popular dramas such as Mr. Sunshine, Goblin and Descendants of the Sun.
The two main leads raised expectation from fans as they’re both known for their great acting skills and versatility as an actors.
Filming of Mount Jiri will start this mid-September.
It is directed by Lee Eung Bok and is set to premiere in 2021.
