Looks like we will be seeing a lot more of Jung Hae In this year as he may be starring in an upcoming miniseries based on a popular webtoon!
The said webtoon is titled “D.P Dog Days (or Deserter Pursuit Dog Days)” written by Kim Bo-tong. It tells the story of a soldier (Ahn Joon Ho) who must find and catch military deserters. Jung Hae In has been offered the lead character named Ahn Joon Ho. The character was a witness to the emotional struggles of the young deserters he found.
Meanwhile, on April 3, it was confirmed by FNC Entertainment that he had been offered a leading role in the drama adaptation of the popular webtoon “D.P Dog Days (or Deserter Pursuit Dog Days)”. The agency said, “Jung Hae In has received a casting offer for ‘D.P Dog Days’, but nothing has been decided yet.”
It was originally planned to be a film adaptation. But they eventually decide that it would be adapted into a six-part drama instead. It will then be a Netflix Original series.
