Kim Bum has confirmed to be one of the casts in tvN’s new drama The Tale of Gumiho, together with Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah.
The Tale of Gumiho, not the official title yet, is an upcoming urban fantasy drama that tells the story of a male gumiho who lived in the city.
However, there is also a fearless producing director who is determined to hunt the gumiho down.
In this drama, Kim Bum will be playing the role of mighty Yi Rang, Lee Dong Wook’s half-brother.
Kim Bum’s character describes as the most dangerous gumiho who holds a deep grudge towards humans. He occasionally seduces them by granting their wishes and they end up paying a hefty price.
Moreover, the said drama will be Kim Bum’s reappearance after his last drama SBS’s Mrs. Cop 2 in 2016. He was also recently discharged from the military last month.
According to the producers, “Kim Bum, who is returning to the screen after four years, will be making a shocking transformation through his acting in The Tale of Gumiho.”
The Tale of Gumiho is set to be premiered in the second half of 2020.
