ONE OK ROCK, to sing the OST for the upcoming “Rurouni Kenshin” sequels

Japanese band ONE OK ROCK will sing the OST for the upcoming “Rurouni Kenshin” sequels. It was announced on March 25.

ONE OK ROCK is a Japanese rock band who debuted in 2005. They consist of four members namely, Taka (vocals), Toru (guitar), Ryota (bass), and Tomoya (drums).

A number of their songs have been featured in the franchise’s previous films. Listen to these songs below:

Rurouni Kenshin: Origins

This 2012 movie features the song “The Beginning”. It is from One OK Rock’s Jinsei x Boku = album.

Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno

Afterward, the song “Mighty Long Fall” features in this 2014 film. It is from their 35xxxv album.

Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends

Lastly, this movie features the song “Heartache”. This is also from their 35xxxv album. The Legend Ends was released in the same year as Kyoto Inferno.

Meanwhile, Rurouni Kenshin: The Final and The Beginning will premiere this coming July and August 2020.
