South Korea sends support to the Victims of the Taal Volcano Eruption

The Republic of South Korea provides USD 200,000 for the 45,000 victims of volcanic eruption through the Philippine Red Cross. Announced by South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 16.

This isn’t the first time that Korea sends help to the Philippines during a disaster.

Taal volcano located in Batangas erupted last Sunday, January 12. Making thousands of Filipinos residing near the area suffer from ashfall. A number of them also lost their source of income. Some have evacuated and flee their houses.

Despite this unfortunate event caused by natural calamity, a lot of hands helped our fellow Filipinos.
