Isn’t it amazing to discover that our idols can still manage to own a restaurant amidst their busy schedule? These celebrities inspires us on how to juggle and manage their time from being a busy celebrity and at the same time a successful entrepreneur. They are also wise for having a side business, because you know, fame is not forever.

Just imagine the feeling when you eat in one of these cafe or restaurant and if you’re lucky enough, you may bump into them and take a picture with your idol.

  1. Bugsy Dog

Owner: Super Junior Choi Siwon
Address: 1st floor, Show DC Bangkapi Road (Chaturathit Road), Huai Khwang, Bangkok, Thailand

A hotdog and burger restaurant that was named after his French bulldog Bugsy. Even in the logo you can see Bugsy holding a big sausage. If you’re a big fan of Choi Siwon and certified ELF, this one is perfect place to eat if you travel around Bangkok.

2. Mouse Rabbit

Owner: Super Junior Yesung

Address: 1 Neungdong-ro 11-gil, Hwayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul

A three-floored cafe owned by Yesung and his brother. Every floor has different concepts which you can choose depending on your mood or style. Mouse Rabbit is a combination of Yesung and his brother’s chinese zodiac, Yesung was born in the year of the Mouse (1984) and his brother was born in the year of the Rabbit (1987) hence the name Mouse Rabbit.

3. Lua

Owner: Yoo Yeon-seok Address: 127-1 Itaewon 1(il)-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Lua means moon in Portuguese. This restaurant opened in night time. It is personally designed and owned by Reply 1994 and Romantic Doctor actor Yoo Yeon-seok. Many said the actor frequently visits here.

4. Kamong

Owner: EXO Kai’s sister

Address: 356 Seocho-dong, Seocho-Gu, Seoul, Korea  

This cafe is not directly owned by Kai but this was set by him for his sister (how sweet!) Kamong is a combination of Kai + his dog Monggu. They said it literally means “Dreaming Kai”. Anyhow, if you’re an EXO-L you can drop by and take a sip of Kamong’s coffee and who knows maybe you could encounter Kai in this cafe.

5. Ossu Seiromushi

Owner: BTS Jin

Address: 30 Baekjegobun-ro 45-gil, Songpa il-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul

Here’s another restaurant that was managed by a K-pop idol and his brother. Offers a Japanese cuisine, their menu is a bit pricey since they served high class ingredients. A great place for BTS fans.

6. Untitled, 2017

Owner: Big Bang G-Dragon

Address: Jeju Shinhwa World, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do, South Korea

This cafe has only been open since 2017 but is already claiming profit and has earned a name for being a popular destination on the island.

7. Cafe Dudart

Address: 642-15 Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

A cafe and bakery managed and owned by Jay Park with partnership between him and his company, AOMG. You can also find inside are Jay Park and company’s merchandise as well.

8. Cafe Soo

Owner: Miss A Suzy

Address: 14-25 Usan-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju, South Korea

A cafe that is also not directly owned by Suzy, she opened it as a gift to her parents. This cafe is being run by her mother. It’s a haven for her fans since it’s full of Suzy’s pictures.

9. 89 Mansion

Owner: Lee Jong-suk

Address: Apgujeong-ro 4-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul  

Owned and decorated by actor Lee Jong-suk, it was opened in 2017. A two-floor cafe and restaurant with signature Dish: 89 Latte and 89 Wasabi Cream Pasta .

10. TMI

Address: 16 Noksapyeong-daero 32-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Anyway, T.M.I which literally stands for Too Much Information, is a casual and stylish dining pub located in Itaewon. Kick back with your friends over signature cocktails, beers and other drinks for an awesome night. The food here is made using organic ingredients only, which is great for the health-conscious. Make sure to try their signature dish, the Mushroom Burger!

11. Loco Quan 401 BBQ Restaurant

Owner: Runningman’s Haha

Address: 395-17 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu

The restaurant’s interior and decor with Jamaican vibes all around. There’s also cardboard cutouts of Haha in hilarious poses for you to snap photos with! The Jeju Black Pork, pork belly and doshirak (lunchbox) are highly recommended here. 

12. Little Tin Drums 양쳘북

Owner: Park Shin Hye

Address: 548-3 Seoul Gangdong-gu, Seonae-dong

13. Everything But The Hero Cafe

Owner: Jo In Sung

Address: 210-68 Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea

These are just some of cafes and restaurants owned by Korean celebrities. If you ever had a chance to be in these area just visit and try their food, not only your tummy will thank you but your eyes and heart too. Plus, you can show your love and support to your idols.
