Four kdramas that will premiere this week

There’s a long line up of promising korean dramas for 2019! To start it off, here are four kdramas that will premiere this upcoming week.

1. Spring Must Be Coming

Release: January 23, 2019

Genre: Drama, Comedy

Plot: Kim Bo-Mi (Lee Yu-Ri) works as a TV news anchorwoman and she only cares about herself. Lee Bom (Uhm Ji-Won) was once a popular actress, but she is now a lawmaker’s wife. She focuses only on taking care of her family. Somehow these two women switch bodies.

2. Kingdom (Season 1)

Release: The first season will premiere on January 25, 2019. The series will have two seasons, with the second season set to go into production in February, 2019.

Genre: Sageuk, Fantasy Horror, Thriller

Plot: Set in Korea’s medieval Joseon period. The deceased king rises and a mysterious plague begins to spread; the crowned prince must face a new breed of enemies to unveil the evil scheme and save his people.

3. Romance is a Supplement

Release: January 26, 2019

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Plot: ‘Romance is a Supplement’ which is considered as one of the most talked-about upcoming dramas of 2019, is a romantic-comedy about a book authors and editors of a publishing company. TVN released the first two posters and it’s first still cut which made the viewers excited for this upcoming rom-com drama.

4. Babel

Release: January 27, 2019.

Genre: Drama

Plot: Cha Woo-Hyuk (Park Si-Hoo) is a prosecutor. He will do anything to take revenge. Cha Woo-Hyuk meets married actress Han Jung-Won (Jang Hee-Jin), but he falls in love with her. Han Jung-Won’s husband is the son of a chaebol family. Cha Woo-Hyuk then faces Han Jung-Won as a prosecutor. She is the suspect in the murder of her husband.
