Gehlee Dangca Returns Home to the Philippines, Starts New Chapter as Solo Artist
After three years in South Korea, Filipina singer and former UNIS member Gehlee Dangca returns to the Philippines on September 29 as she begins a new chapter in her career as a solo artist.
Gehlee’s journey in South Korea began when SBS approached Universal Records Philippines to scout Filipino talents for the survival program Universe Ticket. She went on to receive the highest number of votes and secured the fourth debut spot in the show’s resulting eight-member girl group, UNIS.
Following her time with the group, Gehlee is now set to continue her career in the Philippines, where fans can look forward to seeing more of her through local media appearances, projects, and international activities.
Gehlee will continue working with Universal Records Philippines as her recording label. Her management in the Philippines will be overseen by GLXY Talent Management and Star Horizon TV Production.
Her return marks a new chapter after her journey from Universe Ticket to the K-pop scene in South Korea. Now back home in the Philippines, Gehlee is set to explore new opportunities and continue growing her career as a solo artist.
